Congratulations to all of the ports that submitted winning entries into the 2017 AAPA Communications Awards Program competition!
The recipients of the 2017 Overall Award of Communications Excellence trophies - the top awards in AAPA's Communications Awards Program - are Southern California's Port of Long Beach (Category 3); Northern California's Port of Stockton (Category 2); and the Great Lakes' Port of Green Bay in Wisconsin (Category 1). The three categories are based on the size of the port's public relations/advertising/marketing budget. Links to the entry summaries are provided below.
All of the winners in this year's competition will have their Excellence, Distinction and Merit awards mailed to their ports and be recognized in a narrated PowerPoint presentation on October 4 at AAPA's Awards Luncheon during its 106th Annual Convention & Expo in Long Beach. The three Overall Award of Excellence winners will be presented their trophies at the October 4 awards luncheon in Long Beach.
