2017 Planning for Shifting Trade Workshop

February 2, 2017
Tampa, FL

This popular AAPA program has traditionally addressed global economic trends with key industry leaders providing their insights on shifting trade routes and the resulting impact on infrastructure needs. New in 2017 was a look at the political challenges facing free trade policies, the instability in the ocean carrier industry, and an increased emphasis in the program on how ports could use master planning and other planning tools to address land use and changing infrastructure needs in the face of shifting trade.
